PURPOSE
The purpose of this assignment/project is to enhance learners’ analytical skills in
evaluating, construct and strategize a holistic Islamic financial plan, that cover:
1. Cash flow and Liability Management;
2. Islamic Risk Management;
3. Individual Taxation and Zakat;
4. Islamic Investment;
5. Education for the children;
6. Retirement;
7. Islamic Estate.
SPECIFIC INSTRUCTION
1. This is a group assignment/project, each group must consist not more than 2 members.
2. Answer in English only
3. Submit your assignment ONCE only in a SINGLE file.
4. The assignment consist of 2 sections. Section A and B. Section A to prepare in Microsoft
word format while Section B in microsoft excel format.
5. Line Spacing Standard 1.5 spacing between the lines. The font size should be 12-
point,Times New Roman with Bold print for headings.
6. Students ID number, name must be included on the front cover of project paper.
7. File name to be: IFP_Group Assgn_(members’ name)_Sec A. and IFP_Group

SECTION A (50 MARKS) Questions for Group IF10
Answer all Four (4) questions:
1. Is wealth planning permissible in Islam? How different will it be from the conventional
approach?
2. Code of ethics is a guideline that sets acceptable behaviours for a given group of people
or profession. According to FPAM’s Code of Ethics, a practitioner agrees to act fairly
and diligently when providing the clients with financial planning advises and services.
