Background
Established in February 2021, Drop Zone Food
Station is a startup small business founded for
the purpose of entering the world of food
business. Since the owners have limited knowledge
on the business scene, it was decided that the first
venture would be a franchise so that there would be
someone (franchisers) to guide them through the
process of operating and managing the business.
Drop Zone Food Station franchised Samantha’s
Steamboat right after becoming a registered business
and officially started their operations on February 15,
2021.
Samantha’s Steamboat Philippines, Inc. was
conceptualized to give a healthier option for those
fond of street foods. It offers a variety of selections-
scallop cake, scallop chunk, fish bun with cream, fish
mushroom, fish tofu, lobster claw, and chikuwa to
name a few. These street foods are cooked in boiling
water and served with a wide-selection of sauces.
Samantha’s Steamboat offers 6 sauces, handmade
from scratch, which are delicious individually but even
more perfect when mixed.
DROP ZONE FOOD STATION
Upon consultation with the business owners,
the Palomars, the group has discovered
that the business is facing numerous
problems when it comes to coming up with an
organized system for their operations and the
boosting of sales. These are common concerns for
new business owners and should not be cause for
excessive worry. However, these issues should still
be addressed as soon as possible for operations to
flow smoothly and the business to have proper and

Discussed in the next slide are various
alternative solutions which may prove useful in
addressing these major problems. Advantages
and disadvantages per problem are also
included.

The following conclusions were drawn
after weighing the different factors
affecting the major problems faced by

After weighing the severity of the problem
and the various advantages and
disadvantages of the presented alternatives,
the group recommends these solutions to help
Drop Zone Food Station systemize their
operations and increase their profitability.
