1. During the meeting Colin withdrew from the meeting by not saying anything during or after which
caused his feelings to fester about Henri until Jack got back from his trip. Colin should have performed
the proper nine-step approach to problem solving procedure and should have confronted Henri first,
before going to Jack when he only had ten minutes to talk about the issue at hand. In the chance that
talking to Henri did not work, then he should have talked to Jack but, not on his first day back when he
knew that Jack had a lot to catch up on.
2. I feel like Raouf had the right intention at first by telling Colin to talk to Henri himself first before going
to Jack but, as the conversation when on Raouf made the situation escalate by asking “What do you
think Jack will do?,” and then painting Henri in a bad light making Colin’s feelings for Henri fester
further. Raouf should have continued to encourage Colin to talk to Henri first instead of going to Jack
first thing, he should have also encouraged Colin to follow the nine-step approach to make sure he
would approach Henri in the best way about the issue.
3. I really do think Jack could have handled the meeting better by making Colin wait until the next day
and/or not letting Colin leave his office the way he did. If he couldn’t stop Colin I feel like he should have
called him in for another meeting before having a meeting with Henri because, the short meeting that
Jack and Colin did have was not sufficient to gather enough information about the situation. I don’t
think there is anything different he could have done with Henri because, he did not have a lot of
information on the situation so as far as Jack knew Henri was telling the truth. Jack should have talked to
Colin again before having the meeting with Henri.
4. Fatima should not get into the situation first-hand since she got her information through Colin but, I
do think she should encourage Colin to talk to Jack in a more professional way since their last meeting
was not that informative or long enough for Jack to get enough information from both sides. I also think
she should discourage Colin from having everyone team up against Henri since his information was from
