Case Study 2.1
1. I think that all of the candidates would be a good fit for the position. The best
candidate in my opinion without adding any further information to the descriptions
would be Alexa. She started out at a low-level job and slowly increased to a
higher-level job to me this shows that she has the commitment it would take to
get the job done quickly and efficiently. She is very persistent and responsible in
getting the job done when it comes down to the goals that are set for her.
2. The trait theory helps to show what traits the individual candidates all have. It
also helps to see how each of the candidates are unique in their own ways to
choose the best for the job that they are working towards.
3. The trait theory gives too many traits for each candidate and does not show
which traits are the best for each candidate or job. The different candidates and
jobs will all have the best traits for each of them and it is hard to choose which
trait is the standout one to base your choice on.
