Case Study of Alexia
The case study of choice for this manuscript is Alexia. Alexia is a divorced mom with a
full time administrative assistant job for human resources. During her relationship alexia decided
to get married at age 20 and started to experience different types of trauma. Progressing through
her marriage she became weak because of the abuse and drugs she had been affected by. Alexia
tried a variety of treatments and therapies to assist her in becoming drug free. Even though she
receives assistance from her mother and two cousins, she still feels that she is completely
