1. I think the team should proceed as best as they can and try to get done as much as they
can. Since they are going with the riskier plan they should make sure throughout the
project process they are as precise as they can be; they should have a very precise check
and balance system so that every team member can look over the project. I think this
should be the project that they should confront Ivana because, if the team does not do this
they will be dealing with her for the next few months. The team I feel will proceed better
if they clear the air with Ivana.
2. Throughout the project the team should respect Ivana because, she is the project manager
but, the team should also stand their ground in a respectful way. If they continue to let
Ivana talk to them in this way, it will not stop. In every workplace there is always that
one person that is hard to get along with and Ivana is one of those people. The best way
to deal with these kind of people is to be as nice as possible, be respectful, but also
respectfully make sure to let a person of this nature know when they are out of line.
3. I think Ivana behaves this way because, as she stated she had a hard life growing up with
raising her siblings and trying to go to school but, this does not give any justification for
this behavior. There is also the possibility that this is a learned behavior that she has
learned from past bosses that she had; maybe Ivana thinks this type of behavior is
acceptable because, it is how past bosses treated her. In either case this is not acceptable,
and it is the exact opposite behavior that a project manager should have.
4. I really do think the team should approach Ivana about her management style because, a
project manager should be thinking about more than just themselves and should be letting
