Oregon revised statute 458.010 is a statute that regulates how organs are donated and sold
in Oregon. It has three sections namely Section 1, Section 2, and Section 3.
The Section 1of the statute requires that all organs that are sent to hospitals in other
states, the foreign hospital must pay a fee of $10,000.00 per organ. This means that all organs
from Oregon are owned by the state meaning that hospitals from other states must purchase
