NCR Country Club has realized it is losing memberships, and that they need to
increase their sales and improve their facilites. NRC Country Club started in 1954 as an
employee benefit of the National Cash Register Co. and in 1997, they were purchased by
AT&T who provided a $4.0 million interest-free loan (Cooper & Schindler, 2013, p.79).
NCRCC sought outside help to figure out a solution to their problem. Without counsel
plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed (Proverbs 15:22). The stages of
management-research hierarchy allow NCRCC and the McMahon Group brainstorm and
