INTRODUCTION
Looking for an ideal job which fully inspires your potential is never an easy task. It
should not only bring you financial independence, but also needs to satisfy your own
enthusiasm. Getting an opportunity to work in the right company is especially
essential for college graduates’ future career development. As a student who will
graduate in June 2018, I need to start to make a deliberate work plan for my career.
My major is International Finance. With the rapid development of financial
industries, International Finance becomes one of the most popular majors in the
society. There are many different types of companies that I can choose, including
bank, international trade agency, investment institution, etc. I will confirm the
position which suits me the best and analyze the required abilities of this position.
I have narrowed my research to two companies, HSBC and Wuxi Kingunion S&
T .Co.Ltd. HSBC. The purpose of this report is to confirm the right position and
company for my career. By listing the positions and corresponding abilities that the
specific positions required, I can find a general direction of my work career. Then I
will collect information like company size, location, profit and industry influence to
select several suitable companies. SWOT analysis is effective by using a variety of
online resources (Lu 13), like San Jose University’s electronica databases and
companies’ websites. I make a decision after comparing these companies after above
