In recent discussions of technology in the classrooms, a controversial issue has been
whether it is good in the classroom. On the one hand, some argue that it is bad in the
classroom. From this perspective, I agree that technology can be bad. On the other hand,
however, others argue that technology benefits the children. In the words of Amanda
Ronan, she says that using technology in the classroom is one of those issues that make it
easy to be a fence sitter. It’s difficult to be 100% for the use of technology all the time. In
sum, then, the issue is whether too much technology is good or bad within the classroom.
My own view is that while technology has its perks, I feel that it tends to be more of
a bad thing within the classroom. Though I concede that technology needs to have more of a
smaller approach within the classroom. For example, using technology as a teaching tool
