Introduction

In this essay, I will answer the question, “Is it moral for a Christian to
support same-sex marriage according to the Revelational Christian ethic?” Within this question
is another question that must be answered first. This question is, “Is same-sex marriage
immoral?” This topic of same-sex marriage is one of much controversy and debate in society
today. It contains many contrasting arguments such as: fact versus feelings, “love” versus law,
and God’s design versus man’s ideas.
