1. Abstract
Since the beginning of civilization, the death penalty has been used as a form of
punishment. Crimes, as well as the form in which they are punished, are connected to religion and
social structure. For a long time, the issue of crime and punishment has been discussed among
scholars and ordinary people. In certain countries, the death penalty has been used as a penalty for
certain crimes and circumstances. However, although the death penalty is still existing and used
in some nations, some countries have the moral belief that no one is justified in taking another’s
