Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a severe infectious disease that has been marked as a global
pandemic. A new strain of viruses called the coronavirus is causing the illness. It is related to the
common cold and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) viruses. The public can mistake
its symptoms for that of the common cold or the flu (Influenza). The disease has infected more
than 141 million people and caused the death of more than three million individuals globally
(“Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) – World Health Organization”). While most of the people
infected by the COVID-19 disease recovers, the most considerable portion requires
hospitalization to survive. Additionally, people with underlying illnesses and those who are more
than 65 years are experiencing a higher mortality rate (“Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) –
World Health Organization”). Since the virus spreads quickly, nations formulated and
implemented mitigation and precaution strategies to prevent the likelihood of devastating
outcomes.
COVID-19 spreads to a healthy individual by getting in contact with the respiratory
fluids with the virus. These fluids are produced through coughing or sneezing. Coronavirus can
also infect people when they get in contact with contaminated surfaces and touch their mouth,
nose, or eyes (“Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) – World Health Organization”). The public is
at risk of contracting the virus because it can survive on surfaces for hours. However, the
