California Gun Control
In this paper I intend to prove that California is infringing on our second amendment
rights, by showing statements, testimonies and personal inquiries about our laws. A good
passage to begin this essay is something many of us are familiar with, which is the Second
amendment. The Second amendment of the United States Constitution states “The right of the
people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed” (“Second Amendment US Constitution”)
an amendment enacted December 15th, 1791. All citizens should have full rights to bear arms
and any restricting laws against is a4acking are constitutional rights then have been give us over
a hundred years ago. The broad topic of Gun control is a topic that can be talked about for hours
without an end, I wanted to narrow down to talk about specific issues and aspects of these
laws, The topic that is going to be discussed and be the basis of this essay is not of federal gun
laws but that of state Gun control should have less restrictions on conceal carrying of weapons
of private citizens in California including what can be carried and the ammo restrictions.
California has been known for years as the strictest state on laws, many stricter then of the
national level. That doesn’t change when discussing the ma4er of gun control specifically
concealed carry and that of ammunition laws.
Federal law allows concealed carry of weapons but California law restricts certain uses
