The Brazilian economy follows a market economy as it is a free economy and depends
on the export of natural and mineral resources. Brazil ranks ninth in the world’s largest
economy and ranks first in Latin America. Brazil’s economy is stable and robust after the
economic crisis called the “crisis of confidence” in 2002. The government facilitated foreign
investment and supported local companies for export.

Economic problems have been exacerbated by the devaluation of the Brazilian riyal
