1, Sampling
In our survey, we decided to choose Multi-stage random sampling to take
samples. The population is divided into clusters and each cluster is subdivided into
subgrop – strata based on similarity. From there, we get a set of subclasses called
stratum. We will select one or more strata in the stratum. The samples we target
are parents who have children using Youtube. First, we will list the households
close to the school to begin the survey. After that, we will contact the chiefs of
civil groups, asking them to list the households with children of student age. We
also send survey forms to the chiefs of civil groups to distribute from households.
The reason why we choose Multi-stage random sampling is because this
method is very effective in terms of time and cost. We can quickly get information
from households and it doesn’t take long to do each household survey. This
method is also used because there no complete lists units available.
2, Method
The survey method we choose is face to face. After we unify the list of
households to be surveyed from the chiefs of civil groups, we will go to each
family, give them a survey on Google Forms and invite them to fill out. With a
face-to-face approach, we are also able to interact with parents, listen to their
