Informational Interview Summary
The following answers are responses from Sam Pack to the questions on the next page:
1. A typical day is touching all my departments and having a pulse of where we are in performance
metrics as well in making sure my department heads have everything they need to perform at a
high level. I try and make the rounds to speak and interact with as many employees daily as
possible but having 150 employees makes it a challenge.
2. This is my 20th year in the car business. I was drawn in from some friends telling me I could do
well in this business and maintain a consistent income level. Most of all I just have a love for
cars.
3. I filled out an application and was accepted for a sales position in 1996.
4. I started out selling cars in 1996 worked my way up to used car manager position in 1998 then
worked my way into a finance manager position in 2000 and from there I was promoted to
finance director in 2003-2005 then promoted to New car director in 2006 -2008 then promoted
to General sales manager in 2009 -2010 and I was then promoted to General Manager in 2011
and have been running large volume dealers to this day. I have been blessed!
