INSTRUCTIONS
Complete the following questions using Word or some other format which can be uploaded and
submitted using Canvas. If you complete the assignments in writing, you must be able to scan your
answers into an electronic format. Your answers should correspond to each numbered question,
including any subparagraphs. You are not required to re-type the text of the question, but make sure
your answers are numbered the same as the questions to which you are responding. While there is no
requirement with regard to the length of the responses, you should answer as fully and thoughtfully as
you can, remembering that the purpose of the assignment is to let the Instructor know that you have
read the text and are grasping the material. In other words, your answers should be detailed and
responsive enough to show that you fully understand the issues addressed.
While this is an out-of-class, open-book assignment, you are to use only the textbook and your own
notes in answering the questions. THIS IS NOT A GROUP ASSIGNMENT. There should not be any
collaboration with classmates in completing the assignment. REMEMBER: YOU ARE SUBJECT TO
