I. Introduction
Plaintiffs Mr. Jones and his family filed this suit because Marsha Jones was killed and the
defendants, KDA Radio station, Tom Deele, and Robert Smith were an accessory to her being
deceased. Tom Deele, a KDA employee, was to ride around the Bay Area and the first person to
find Deele’s whereabouts gets an interview and has a chance to win a cash prize followed by
