ACME Internal Ethics Proposal

BUSINESS ETHICS SUMMR-CMP 2017
In accordance with the Federal Sentencing Guidelines for Organizations (FSGO), the
following proposal has been prepared for Dr. Hillary Hodges, Vice President of ACME
Industries, Inc. and the Board of Directors, in response to the ethics audit requested by the Board
of Directors. Included, in our findings, are the severity with which ethical behavior was ignored
by the lowest level of employee on up to the President/CEO Mr. Friz Freling, as well as,
solutions to remedy these issues and prevent them from happening in the future.
First, several problems pertaining to the leadership and decision-making structure were
found during this audit. Mr. Freling is shown to have an overwhelming amount of decision-
making power. In the aftermath of hurricane Katrina, the Board of Directors werent able to
make a decision regarding the status of the buildings repair, yet Mr. Freling was free to
