[A]: Visualizing your audience is a pivotal step in the writing process. It helps a business
communicator make decisions about shaping the message. It will discover what kind of language
is appropriate, whether there should be used specialised technical terms, whether everything
should be explained, and so on. Profiling the audience helps the business communicator decide
whether the tone should be formal or informal and more importantly , which channel is the most
desirable. Another advantage of profiling your audience is considering the
possibility of a secondary audience. When a speaker profiles an audience they can get hints about
what topics resonate with the audience. With this information, a speaker can adjust their speech
in order to deliver their message.
