What are some of the main benefits teamwork brings to an organization?
Some of the benefits that teamwork brings to an organization are better decisions, because
it gives different perspectives. It also increases productivity, because the more people, the
quicker the job will get done. Last, it reduces risks, because the entire team is making sure
things are being done properly and everything is getting double checked.
How can a team improve an organization’s efficiency?
With a team, you can get more than one opinion on a situation, and the more people that
agree to something being a good idea, the more likely it will be successful. With more than
one person working on a task, the job is likely to get done quicker so that way more will
get done efficiently.
What are some individual team member traits that reduce a team’s effectiveness?
A team member who is not open to ideas other than their own, and is not willing to agree
with everyone else in the team. It may also be someone who can not set aside their
differences with someone else on a personal level, therefore being difficult to work with.
Also team members who believe everything is a competition and does not help out anyone
else in the team. This will make things difficult and slow down the tasks they are working
on, making them less effective.
