Two new services that are new to the market place would be Apple Pay and Android Pay.
Both are free services offered by the makes of Apple and Android phones. They allow the user to
load their credit and debit cards onto their cell phones in a mobile wallet that allows the user to
pay for goods and services using only their phone and eliminating the need to carry around
physical cards to an extent.
Apple Pay is exclusive to the Apple iPhone. It loads the cards into your mobile wallet
using a combination of you entering the card info and having to call your bank or card provider
to activate the new card on the phone. This is a nice added level of security. To use the pay at a
check out you simply hold the phone to the card reader and use your fingerprint to approve the
transaction. This is a great level of convenience but it also gives way to many new security risks.
