>In April 2019, NYC passed a package of
legislation to accelerate buildings’ progress
toward the City’s 80×50 target
What’s Included
>Local Law 92 and 94: requires roofs of
certain buildings be covered in green roofs
or solar
PV systems
>Local Law 95: revises the City’s energy
efficiency grade
>Local Law 96: establishes a sustainable
energy loan program (i.e. PACE)
>Local Law 97: requires certain greenhouse
gas emissions reductions by 2050 in
buildings greater than 25,000 sq. ft.

replicable, resilient, affordable, comfortable, and connected to
the surrounding community.
