Budgeting
Our idea for the redesigning of the weight room includes numerous levels of installation and
renovating. We would like to stick to the Gardner-Webb colors of red and black throughout the
weight room. The dimensions of out weight room are Length of 67.5ft a height of 29.5ft and a
width of 51.23 ft. We would like to have the size divided into black turf and red rubber. With
the dimension of the floor being 3458 sqft, we like to have half of each color or 1729 sqft each.
The local home depot will sell us the black turf at a flat rate 48 cents per square foot. This
brings the first half of our floor to be 829.93$ . The rubber part of the flooring installation is
slightly more expensive at 2.93$ per sqft. 5065.97$ bringing our total to be 5895.87$. in
addition to the natural cost of the of 10$/hr of labor , which with the dementions of our weight
