Buddhism and Christianity
It is quite important to understand the role and philosophy of Buddhism as well as to
understand the meaning of it all in the world today. There are differences and similarities
portrayed between Christ and Buddha. Jesus Christ and Siddhartha Gautama can both be seen as
saviors of the world that bring light and love into existence for all human beings. Siddhartha
Gautama is the founder of Buddhism while Jesus Christ is the founder of Christianity. Siddhartha
was born as a Hindu in the dominant culture of Indian subcontinent at the time as Jesus was born
