Although bribery is one of the most instinctively corrupted and destructive acclimations
in business, bribery has infiltrated every major business industry, and its universal presence
around the world is bewildering. A perspective of the U.S. established companies that transgress
this law would be that they are complying with the countries norms and rules. Bribery may aid
matters in the short term, but over the long run have shown to have a damaging impact on
everyone involved, regardless of stature within said company. The Mintz Group published a
revealing interactive map on the topic, the countries implicated in the most FCPA violations
included Nigeria, China, Russia, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. (2020)
