Greetings to each Wayne County daycare facility director present today. Welcome to this
brief focus group conducted by a local food manufacturer. The purpose of this six-member focus
group is to determine how you shop for your facilities state-funded food program, what you
purchase and how local manufacturers can assist. This group of directors has been assembled to
gather primary marketing information to assist the host company in determining a marketing
strategy for a potential new service. Now let us get to the meat of the discussion.
Question 1- What grain food items do you purchase weekly for your facility?
Facilitator- Allow the group to discuss answers to the question and write down the items
they purchase. If they answer bread, follow up with what type of bread, white or wheat?
