Since Reb ruined her sister’s lives, she learned her lifelong lesson and made up her mind
that she would marry only him, whom she loves, and would break her father’s tradition of
arranged marriage. Reb was furious over Sara’s decision of turning down millionaire
businessman Max Goldstein, who was a gentleman but wasn’t interested in Sara’s education. Sara
isolates herself from her culture and her family, when she leaves for college. After getting
college degree, she pursuits her dream of being a teacher. After her mother, Reb marries his
neighbor, Mrs. Feinstein, who was very cruel and jealous of Sara. She sends a letter, full of
criticism, to Hugo Seeli, the principle of the school, where Sara’s used to teach. However by this
hateful work, Sara actually met the love of her life, Hugo, who later convinced her to forgive her
stubborn father. He says to Sara, “After all, it’s from him that you got the iron from the fight you
