In the article by Nelson Daranciang, Lola Jean Amorin, 70, the bookkeeper, of The Arc
in Hawaii was sentenced to 25 years in prison on August 16, 2018. Amorin was charged for
stealing $7 million from nonprofit that provides services to children and adults with
developmental and physical disabilities and for money laundering, tax evasion, and failing to file
