Boeing and Airbus
1. I believe that the philosophy of Airbus is better than that of Boeing. One of the top
causations of accidents comes from the Man Factor. By allowing technology to make decisions,
a more accurate result can stem from it. Also, planes are not limited by the skill level of the pilot,
but the performance of the aircraft is synced across all aircraft. Pilots will have a subjective
decision-making process, whereas by handing this huge task onto technology, decisions will be
based on an objective nature. This allows for more accurate results and safer flying.
2. I believe that the philosophies of the 2 companies differ due to different leadership
decisions. It is proven that empowerment in business boosts performance in an organization. I
believe Boeing encourages its pilots to make their own decisions to increase their skills,
