Introduction
Sergeant leadership is very difficult and challenging. It calls us to put our own interests
and desires aside to help other people first. Human nature encourages the opposite behavior.
Northouse (2018) characterized servant leadership as the frame of mind that enables leaders to be
attentive to the well-being of their subordinates, to understand them, and mentor them (p. 224).
This encompasses the leader empowering them to develop to their greatest potential possible.
Bloom’s Taxonomy is considered vital for leaders to follow to accomplish such a feat. Bloom’s
Taxonomy provides support when developing subordinates and themselves. This requires
various activities that are dependent on different cognitive levels. His taxonomy is a valuable
