Coming from 2019 into 2020 we expected big things coming from this year. We set out goals,
traveled, chose new career paths and expanded our horizons. We were excited to bring in a
new year as always, but we felt something was different about 2020. Many of us prayed and
asked God for this year to be clear, concise and special. Or as some people said ‘’Let us have
2020 vision for the year of 2020.’’ Little did we know that this would be the year where all of
those things stopped. If 2020 had a theme to me it would be to appreciate life, live life to the
fullest and hold your family and friends closer than ever. We’ve seen death, isolation and
disruption coming from all angles. Starting from ICE separating children from their parents,
COVID-19 infecting people and ending their life early, and now the SARS movement.
