Biomedical engineering and the epigenome.
As these past couple of weeks have gone by we have learned quite a bit about our genetic makeup,
the DNA. This topic has always interested me so I decided to do a little research related to DNA. I
came across this new research that suggest we can essentially tweak our genetic material externally
to allow it to perform differently. The process is called the epigenome. This new technique uses the
chromatin in DNA and the gene present to form them and perform a different or better function.
