Summary of Article
Roth’s article ‘Macroecology of Animal Body Size,’ talks about the existence of animals
in stunning diversities in their sizes, body shapes, and complexities. It illuminates how the topic
on animal sizes cannot be sufficiently captured in a single book. Though the size of any animal
can be arrived at by comparing them to those of others, the gradual increase in their sizes due to
generic growth made the conclusions on animal size demanding (Roth 548). Many studies have
been done in the area, resulting in many publications. Animal body size differs from the rest in
