Bio Diesel is an alternative fuel option to Diesel. There are many
different substances that have been use to produce a viable and productive
fuel. The two main types are vegetable and animal fats. These are the pros
and cons for the use of bio diesel. One con is that the higher viscosity
results in poor fuel atomization in modern diesel engines (Durrett).
A small background will help our understanding of biodiesel,
vegetable oil was first used to run an engine by Rudolf Diesel, who also
developed the first engine. This started the drive to create a viable
biodiesel (McCarthy). In the early 1900s, U.S. farmers took notice of the
