The constitution was a greatest things that was written for the United States, but there
was a problem with the constitution at the time, when the constitution was formed they left out
something, well it was not even a thought when being written. The constitution did not include a
declaration of individual rights for citizens. The only thing that was mentioned in the constitution
was what the government could do, there was nothing about what the government could not do.
It took several years before the Bill of Rights was added to the constitution. The Bill of Rights
was a separate part of the constitution that took several years to be added. This document was
written by James Madison, he felt like the citizens need civil liberties to protect them from
