Introduction
Bill Clinton, the 42nd U.S. President, was in office from 1993-2001. Before presidency,
the Democratic president was governor of Arkansas, his home state. During Clinton’s term,
America enjoyed a time of peace, with low unemployment and crime rates. Clinton also opened
up many top government posts, such as U.S. Attorney General and U.S. Secretary State, to
women and minorities. In 1998, President Clinton was impeached on charges that he was having
sexual relations with an intern. Bill Clinton still remains active in today’s public life.
Before Presidency
Bill Clinton was born on August 19, 1946 in Hope, Arkansas. He was an only child to
