Big Data
Big data is used to describe a massive volume of both structured and
unstructured data that is so large that it’s difficult to process using traditional
database and software techniques. Big data may also be referred to the
technology including tools and processes that an organization requires to handle
the large amounts of data and storage facilities. Big data doesn’t just refer to size
in gigabytes of dataset, but also the complexity of that dataset. A big data
database is usually one that has a large volume of data but also that data tends
to be relatively unstructured or has complex relationships.
Elements of big data include the degree of complexity within the data set.
Another element would be the amount of value that can be derived from innovate
versus non-innovated technique, and the last element of big data is how the use
of longitudinal information supplements the analysis. An attribute can include its
tendency to be hard to delete making privacy a common concern.
The amount of data in our world has been exploding, and analyzing large
data sets, such as big data, that will be a key bases for competition, underpinning
new waves of productivity growth, innovation, and consumer surplus. The
