This article goes into detail about the experiment the Marine Corps conducted to allow
female Marine Officers to voluntarily attempt the Infantry Officer’s Course. The end
result showed that none of the 29 female volunteers could successfully complete the
course.
I will use these statistics to argue that the only way female recruits will be able to
complete these courses and join the infantry is to lower the standards set to determine a
pass rating for this Infantry Officers Course, which will ultimately weaken the strength
and training standards of our military.
