In todays world we live in a bias perhaps cultural world, where one person
try’s to comprehend the next. In my interview with Shelley Anthony a pgcc student
from Georgetown Guyana I learned quite a few things from how she views the
American lifestyle , to the language barriers. She was very insightful in the way
she expressed herself during the interview, she used many hand gestures with
deep serious eye contact , which let me know right away how much the American
lifestyle has a!ected the way she is used to viewing cultural di!erences. Overall I
acknowledged that even though cultures are di!erent we are all really the same
deep down in one way or another. I once realized that the American lifestyle was in
a way lazy with an e!ect on other cultures to be hardworking , however it is
interesting to see how even throughout all that everyone can still co-exist together.
In the interview Shelley Anthony quoted “ Most Americans prefer to interact
