“Beowulf” Analysis
A performance of Beowulf in an authentic tenth century mead hall would vastly differ
from simply reading the epic in a contemporary setting. The audience would get fully
immersed into the show. Rather than just relying on the imagery put forward by the person
who wrote it, they would experience the sights, the sounds, the people, and the tones of voice
