Leaders play a significant role in the society by ensuring that people either in a country or
any society receive genuine happiness. According to Ayesh et al. (2013), “good leaders provide
peace and prosperity while bad leaders make people suffer thus ruin a country or a state” (pp. 10-
11). Therefore a leader is expected to be considerate and sensible to issues affecting lives of
people. It is important for leaders to avoid any provocation with neighbors and should maintain a
high level of transparency and accountability in daily activities.
Holmberg and Rothstein (2015) argued that “government leaders are expected to win the
trust of the people by acting in a friendly manner and try as much as possible not to involve in
