A true business leader is not defined by the amount of net revenue they accumulate, but by the of
self-enterprise that is shared Ben Silbermann, the CEO, of popular cite sharing app Pinterest, has made
an investment into his entrepreneurship abilities since he was a young child. His outlook on life he
imagine he would grow up obtaining a career as a doctor. But the medical field, unlike much of his
family, was not for him. The creation of Pinterest arisen during a time many people were not spending
many funds online, the recession. Silbermann grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. His interest as a child
included pinning different species of insects he found to cardboard. His move to California was the
beginning of a scrupulous journey. There, he went from a job creating spreadsheets to working customer
support at Google AdSense. Silbermann became disheartened to learn that his career skills would not lead
to any changes in job placement. Wanting to extend his career, he decided if he would not be given the
chance to work doing something he enjoyed, he would not work at all. So he quit Google. Silberman
enlisted the help of a college friend named Paul Sciarra. Sciarra was able to develop iOS apps and
implement designs developed by Silbermann. The readable grid layout was created by New York friend,
Evan Sharpe, who Silbermann named a strong believer. The long-running website was created after many
