Story:
“The best part about our club is sharing our career goals and getting involved,” President Ruby Herrera
said at the Pre-Health Society meeting.
The Pre-Health Society at the University of Texas at A&M San Antonio conducted it’s once a month
meeting Mar. 9th in Room 330 of CAB.
The society is really busy and so interesting!
First, Ms. Herrera called the meeting to order.
Then the students said the Pledge of Allegiance.
Next, the club’s other 4 officers and ten members were introduced by Herrera. “I love being apart of this
club,” said Yolanda Mendoza, a student who is majoring in Biology and who is a Sophomore. “I want to
become a dental hygienist, it has been great to meet other students who are also interested in health
careers.”
Next, Herrera asked a new student to introduce himself. Mike Vasquez, an english major, proceeds to say
that he is attending the meeting due to the fact that he wants to change his major to psychology.
