Class Recap
For this journal I will continue the thought process I implemented for the TV
show Bar Rescue. So jumping right in schedule and cost estimates are part of
the shows over haul as well as risk and integration elements. The most prevalent
I would say is the risk calculating and risk factors. The whole premise of the show
is to find sinking bars and to reevaluate the business from the ground up
because the risks associated with opening any business are rapidly burying the
ones featured on the show. Part of the show also calculates the risk that the so
called intervention is a total loss and the business maintains its nose dive into
closure. Ultimately they battle that major risk throughout the show in order to
save these bars and the associates jobs and the manager from staying in debt
and for an entertaining show for viewers.
In respect to time, cost, risk management, and project integration; I assumed
from my first viewing that the project integration portion would change the most
because essentially that is the premise of the show. Integrate a third party
advisor that takes the helm as acting manager and introduce fool proof concepts
