A. Did the team know your two attributes, numbers 3 and 4 above? How
did they respond when you told them? What did people say?
During our team meeting on Saturday, everybody shared their personal
information to each other and I liked it because it was like a conversation
rather than task.
As an international student the biggest challenge for me the language
barrier and I told this to my team. Their reaction was really thoughtful about
this situation, I asked them to criticize me as much as possible about my
mistakes because I would like to use English as an American student. Also
for the team we decided that international students can bring different
perspective because of different experiences and cultural and educational
differences. I am pretty sure that this team will do its best to achieve the
goal for this course.
B. How did you feel when you told the team about yourself, your
background and attributes?
I was excited a little bit before the meeting because sometimes
explaining yourself is not that easy in a different language. However,
everybody was so respectful to each other and we were giving our attention
to the team member who is talking about himself\herself. So, after meeting
I feel relaxed because at least right now my team knows about my missing
abilities and I will feel more comfortable when I am going to ask something
related with my paper.
