Two different companies, two different supervisors, and two vastly different worlds.
McGregor High School and Craftmasters Powder Coating, Inc. are both used to examine the
differences in these particular organizations. By interviewing people in different fields, a major
difference in how companies are run can be seen. Education, while not technically a business, is
run in such a way that the consumer, or student, is not always right. On the contrary, a
construction-type business, especially a small, family-run business, is managed in such a way
that the customer comes first and foremost. Not saying that the customer is not important in
education, but their needs are more closely developed and considered than their wants. These
companies/organizations must run very differently and establish techniques and ideas that are
completely different and sometimes even opposite. The ultimate goal, however, to run a
successful business/organization is the same. No matter what line of work one is in, the desire to
