A. Complete the test found at the following link: Business Management Aptitude Test. (Links to
an external site.) There are approximately 56, True/False questions on the test. Once you
complete the test, you will need to provide an email a to obtain the results (do not include the
actual results in the 2 page limit – but DO include a discussion of the results).
B. View your results and, when provided an option, print the results to a PDF file, naming the
file with the first letter of your first name, an underscore, and then your full last name, for
example, l_gow.pdf.

Complete four Personal Insights found in your textbook at the end of your chapters. Provide the
results in an appendix to your paper (do not include the actual results in the 2 page limit – but
DO include a discussion of the results).

Part 3: Management Observations and Reflections:
A. I would like for you to spend a day thinking about the concept of Emotional Intelligence as
discussed in Chapter 9 and the videos in your Modules. Then, I would like you to spend a day
self-monitoring and keeping notes. Whether you are working, in class, playing sports, or
hanging out with friends or family, try to pay attention to the situation and how you are reacting
emotionally and mentally. It might help to keep a notepad handy for the day so you can jot down
observations. After your day of “observing”, reflect on the experience here.
I feel like I am a ball of different emotions all the time. I have so many tasks to complete each
day and I work with children everyday so I feel like my emotions change all the time. On a
typical day I feel a lot of different emotions. I try not to feel guilty about doing school and work
instead of spending more time with my daughter. I fell happiness that I have a job in the field I
have been studying. I feel stressed about working with the children, I want to do a great job, and
working with young children can be very challenging. I can sometimes feel overwhelmed with
all the things I need to get done in a given day. I always feel stressed about what I am going to
make for dinner. School is also a very big stressor for me, but I am almost done. I feel self-
motivation all the time, if I didn’t I would stay in bed all day.
B. I would like you to think about chapter 12 and the module videos on Leadership. In
particular, think about as a manager the need for recognizing natural leaders. I would like you
to spend a day monitoring those around you and identify at least two “natural leaders” and
discuss why you feel they are natural leaders. Whether you are working, in class, playing sports,
