5-1. Describe the roles and the responsibilities of top, middle, and first-line managers.
The three levels of management are top, middle, and first line. The few executives who are
responsible for the overall performance of large companies are top managers. Just below top
managers are middle managers, including plat, operations, and division managers, who
implement strategies, policies, and decisions made by top managers. Supervisors and office
manager on the first line managers who work with provide the employees report to them. In any
